Well hey you guys. It's been a pretty long time since I've blogged or informed you of how my adventure was going. Well I'm here to inform you that I have completed my adventure and I'm extremely proud of the results. I went on cultural adventure and I experienced what it meant to be a true African American. I visited the African American Research Library on Auburn Avenue and I went to a bookstore called the Shrine Of The Black Madonna. This adventure really changed my whole perception of what it meant to be African American. At first I was always like "Okay this is what I am nothing more nothing less". I never wanted to really learn about my culture because I really didn't care.
Now, I'm learning what it means to be African American. I'm now able to learn more efficiently about other cultures because I know who I am and I know what my culture is. I have found a higher meaning of self, I think I am finally able to say that I know who I am.
