Hey everyone, your most likely reading this blog to see if you should take this course or for advice on this course. I am here to tell you that you should really consider taking this course if your alright with demanding work that will challenge you. If you want an easy class that you can just fly through, then choose another class because Professor Arrington's class is demanding. Even though it may be demanding, it's very rewarding and fun. You learn how to write more effectively and apply the skills you learn in this class to other classes.
If you decide to take this course I will tell you now, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. The work she gives you needs to be done before a day before it's due. Also turn in every assignment, missing one is the difference between failing and passing the class. The homework might seem a little tedious but it will really help you in the long run. This class will be as easy as you make it, if you choose to do all of your work at the last minute it will be hard do it on time and you wont have any issues.
Professor Arrington is an amazing teacher and if you have any issues or need any help she is there. She will really make you think outside of the box and you will see your work in a different way. You will start this class as an alright writer, but by the end of the class you'll be an amazing writer.
I think Professor Arrington's English 1101 class is good for anyone who doesn't mind doing work and being challenged. If you would like to be in an easier, less demanding class, this is not the course for you.
